You’ll spot the lime-green fascia on Clonard Road, Unit 2 at Newline Stores. The glass still says Cluain Árd Meats — that’s the company behind the counter. The shop trades as The Saucy Butcher.
It’s a proper independent craft butcher: Irish beef, lamb, pork and poultry, homemade burgers, and the boerewors people drive in for. Staff who’ll talk you through a Sunday roast or a midweek tray. Associated Craft Butchers of Ireland members, with gold-award burgers in the national competitions.
Call in, ring or WhatsApp. Orders are in-store — no online shop.

Wow a great butchers especially for bbq stuff was staying at an air b and b nearby and was recommended this place. Meat was so good especially the burgers!

On Clonard Road (the R733), opposite Clonard Surgery, in the Newline Stores units. Parking at the units — Google lists a wheelchair-accessible entrance and car park. Clonard Retail Park is a short hop south if you need a bigger car park. Local buses run along Clonard Road; Wexford town centre is a short drive.
